Disabled people are often not active on the labour market

In 2015, there were 1.7 million people in the Netherlands between the ages of 15 and 75 who indicated that they were hindered from getting or doing work by a long-term illness, disorder or disability. Almost 400 thousand of these people were between 25 and 45 years old. Half of them were not active in the labour market.
